2023 NWF Affiliate Chief Executives Meeting
After a couple years of way too many zoom meetings, we are planning an in-person NWF Affiliate Chief Executives Meeting in January 2023. Rebecca Triche at the Louisiana Wildlife Federation has graciously invited us to meet in New Orleans. This meeting should be a great opportunity to catch up and collaborate with your colleagues from across the country!
When
The meeting will start at 8 AM on January 11, 2023, and conclude at noon on January 12, 2023. Plan to travel/arrive on January 10 and depart after noon on January 12.
Where
The meeting will be take place in New Orleans at the Four Points by Sheraton in the French Quarter.
Travel
You will want to fly into the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). You can get a cab/rideshare to the French Quarter for about $30.
Hotel
NWF has negotiated a room block for the nights of January 10 and 11 at the Four Points by Sheraton for a rate of $159/night. Make your reservations here. (This rate also applies to additional nights before and after the meeting based on room availability.) NWF will provide breakfast and lunch on January 10 and 11; there are no shortage of dinner options in the immediate area.
Funding Assistance
NWF is providing travel grants to affiliate leaders who need help with travel and lodging expenses. Contact your Director of Conservation Partnerships for details.
