Awards

The following conservation awards will be presented at the 2020 National Wildlife Federation Annual Meeting, June 10-13, 2020 at Asilomar Conference Grounds in Pacific Grove, California.

National Conservation Achievement Award: Affiliate of the Year

Recognizes an NWF affiliate organization for conservation accomplishments and contributions to collaborative efforts with NWF and supporters.

National Conservation Achievement Award: Leadership in Conservation

Honors an exemplary conservation accomplishment or sustained conservation leadership.

National Conservation Achievement Award: Affiliate Volunteer of the Year

Recognizes an outstanding NWF affiliate volunteer or an individual who gives their time, talents and service to support the mission of NWF and affiliates to protect wildlife for our children’s future and to build a conservation movement.

National Conservation Achievement Award: Young Leader

Recognizes the special conservation achievements of a young leader from the NWF affiliate ranks.

Charlie Shaw Conservation Partnership Award

Honors individuals who have demonstrated a true appreciation for the value and potential of the NWF-affiliate relationship. It may be made in each of two categories:

  • A volunteer or staff member from an affiliate organization
  • An NWF staff member.
